My understanding is the 623rd Quartermaster Company (AER&S) is a member Quartermaster Corps' *Distinguished Unit of the Regiment*. Induction date unknown. No photo or award scan is available.

Cam Ranh Bay

The 623rd shared facilities of the 109th Quartermaster Company at Cam Ranh Bay. The 623rd's mission was to offer Depot support for supply and field maintenance, and reclamation of air delivery equipment. The 623rd made major contributions in Junction City, Khe Sanh, and A Shau Valley.

The 109th, 383rd, and 623rd all played a major role in the airdrops delivering over 8,000 tons of supplies by parachute and extraction systems that set a record of most tonnage ever drop into *actual combat* for a 30 day period during Khe Sanh and TET68. A record still holds to this day.

The now active 623rd Quartermaster Company (AER&S, "Aerial Equipment Repair and Supply") is at Ft Bragg, North Carolina.
This is all the information I have on the 623rd QM Co.
