Monroe Reed was born 11-21-1921. Richard died 12-28-1999
Amarillo, Tx, at 78 years of age. His body was interred Elk City OK. He
married Georgie. Richard had no children. Richard was
awarded two Bronze Metals with Valor during WWII while part of an
ambulance crew. Richard appeared in a News Reel which was shown across
America in theaters.
Neoma's faith forbid her going to the movies and she was almost black
balled from her church in Monahans Texas for going to see Richard, her
son. Richard was the son of Richard Luther Reed and Neoma Beatrice Wells.
